DAY 2- FIELD STUDY

AUGUST 28, 2025 Today was another memorable day of my field study at Lahug Elementary School. In the morning, I was given the opportunity to facilitate the class, and it was such a rewarding experience. We started the day with a prayer, followed by the singing of the Lahug Hymn, which set a respectful and uplifting tone for the class. Afterward, I led an energizer activity, and the children happily danced to the Chicken Dance and the Gummy Bears Dance . Their laughter and energy filled the classroom, and I could feel how much they enjoyed these simple but fun activities. By around 8 a.m., the students from the morning class were called to the gymnasium to take part in the opening of their intramurals. The atmosphere was festive and exciting as the children gathered, played, and cheered together. DAY 1- FIELD STUDY

My First Day of Field Study at Lahug Elementary School   August 26, 2025 Today was the official start of my field study journey at Lahug Elementary School, and I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness as I walked through the school gates early in the morning. The moment I arrived, the warmth of the teachers and staff instantly put me at ease. Their smiles and welcoming words made me feel that I truly belonged in their community. We started the day with a short orientation from the principal and our cooperating teachers. Listening to them talk about the school’s vision, mission, and values made me realize how much heart they pour into nurturing their learners. It wasn’t just about routines and policies it was about building a culture of care and growth. That really struck me. After the orientation, we toured the campus.
